Astrix Medical Supplies, LLC is pleased to announce that they have received the SBA’s (Small Business Administrations) coveted 8(a) certification. Astrix Medical Supplies is a minority owned, Hospital Equipment and Supplies Wholesaler. With their corporate office located in Richmond, Virginia.

Astrix Medical Supplies, a provider of Durable Medical Equipment and solutions for federal, state and local government customers, has been preparing for the receipt of their 8(a) certification for some time.
"In addition to our highly trained staff and the portfolio of products, we’ve built the operational infrastructure that allows us to be efficient, responsive and adaptable as our business continues to grow," says Damiel.
The 8(a) certification and business development assistance lasts for nine years and will allow Astrix Medical Supplies to pursue sole-source federal government contracts and set aside contracts allocated to 8(a) certified companies.
